Over due
I know I am way over due for an update!
Here we go then:
Life has been full of excitment and the fact of our now 4 year old is about to turn
5. Yes, we are all excited about turning 5; well she is, not mommy and daddy. It doesn't seem like it has been 4 years now that we have had our sweet baby girl, but it has. Man how time flies when you are having fun with your child!!!
She is now at the Montessori School and she loves it! She is in Pre K or as she says she is in PreSchool. She is learning so much and loves to learn all at the same time. She now has a musical and cultural class that she attends once a week and loves going to it. This kid loves music and can't wait on Monday's to go to class. She loves all of her teachers and her classmates. Her teacher's are telling me great stories of how well she is doing and even helps some of the older kids with their work. Yea, thank you Dear Lord for a smart child that loves to learn.
She had her first experience with one of us having surgery about 3 weeks ago when the doctor decided it was time for my gallbladder to be removed. I have to give it to little Dr. Provine and big Dr. Provine they have taken great care of mommy.
We celebrated on Sept. 4th (a little early since the real date is Sept. 10th) her Gotcha Day at Mamaw and Papaw's house in Grenada and had a great time. Several family members and friends came out to help us celebrate. Little Miss Mary Beth received a lot of presents and was just tickled that she had her friends and cousins to go swimming with and to play with. There were several that were not able to attend, but we totally understood and pray that they will be able to make it on the next Gotcha Day party.
I have attached a few pictures of her Gotcha Day party and some random photos that have been taken. Enjoy!!!!!

Chinese New Year was very exciting this year as you can tell from the video. The girls had a wonderful time and so did the parents. This was our first year going to the celebration in Oxford and needless to say we will go again. Everything was so layed back and relaxing. The girls got to meet other Chinese children; some older and some younger. It was great to meet families that just came back from China with their children. The Tupelo celebration was the weekend before and the girls enjoyed the blow up bounce, food and getting to be with their friends.
Other pictures from both the Tupelo and Oxford Celebrations are below.
I recreated a photo of Charlie Ann, MaryBeth and Hannah Ruth this year since the girls have grown so much. I first took the picture of all three of them back when we had our first NMPACC Day in the Park in 2007. All three of the girls had only been home for a few months and all three are from Jiangxi Province. They have grown a lot since then and are such pretty little girls.
